One-on-one Financial Empowerment Coaching Sessions
During these sessions individuals work with a trained professional financial empowerment coach (fec coach) not only to understand their credit scores, but also to work on improving it, developing a budget, build a debt elimination strategy plan, access to trusted financial institutions and create an action plan that gives actionable steps to reach financial goals such as re-established credit to purchase a home or creating a savings plan for their emergency savings.
In addition to coaching clients on the mechanics of money management, Sara listens for opportunities to make recommendations as applicable based on client's needs, and use session time together as teachable moments to shift and change old bad money habits.
Sara was instrumental in developing the Finances for the Family training program in collaboration with the Children's Museum of the Upstate, and with the Greenville County Human Relations Bloomberg Philanthropies Financial Empowerment Centers. Sara has been recently featured in the Greenville Library System's first Spring 2019 publication with her inspiring story and encouragement for families to get their finances in order by taking control now not later and shares tips on just how to begin. https://www.greenvillelibrary.org/
Sara is a guest speaker at numerous organizations, and she is on a mission to transform the myths about the cycle of being asset poor into richly thriving and loving it.
Sara is a proud wife to husband John Carter for 21 years and counting, mother of two children, and grandmother of twins, one of her latest and most proud promotions.
When not teaching, speaking, or coaching you can find Sara biking, jogging, or snuggled up with an inspirational book.
